Post End Date: 10/02/2024 About this opportunity: Cenovus is looking for
a Discipline Engineer, Rotating Equipment, at our Superior WI refinery.
The rotating equipment engineer is responsible for managing the
mechanical predictive maintenance program. They will also be involved in
supporting equipment failures and root cause investigations. They will
review rotating equipment performance and provide recommendations for
improvements to meet our reliability targets. Interested in working in
Superior? Learn more! What youll do: Develop and or review and
maintain rotating predictive/preventative maintenance
guidelines/programs to meet site requirements. Utilize SAP to manage the
predictive / preventative maintenance system. Develop and review
selected rotating work scopes for turnaround and equipment outages.
Develop rotating obsolescence and long-range plans, which includes
identification of Bad Actor equipment and development of mitigation
plans. Grow and improve rotating asset care strategies that will
improve MTBF, lower maintenance cost and increase on-stream reliability.
Provide recommendations and justification for rotating equipment
upgrades and input to the plant capital plan. Who you are: Bachelors
of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 4 years of
engineering experience in an industrial setting Preferred:
Professional Engineer Experience in an operating refinery or chemical
plant with similar responsibilities and deliverables. Certified
Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) Broad and detailed
knowledge of industry standards, reliability best practices What we
