Academic Outreach Advisor

Position Summary

DarkStar Intel is seeking a qualified Journeyman Recruiting and Outreach Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance and Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Location: Bethesda, Maryland 

FLSA Status: Full-Time

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with a CI Poly

Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Position Type: On-Site

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Provide outreach and recruiting support to assist the government with increasing university students awareness of and interest in IC careers.

Build partnerships with U.S. colleges and universities to strengthen foreign language programs and create pathways for language students to enter the IC

Support stakeholders across all IC agencies to develop IC-wide recruiting strategies and initiatives

Organize and facilitate virtual and in-person outreach events, conferences, expert panels, and information sessions

Provide administrative and logistical support to the IC Community of Practice for Language Recruiting as well as the IC Centers for Academic Excellence Program

Prepare briefing slides, meeting minutes, and other written products as required; maintain databases of partner schools

Minimum Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

IC event planning experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Teams

TS/ SCI w/ poly required 

BS 3 years or no degree 9 years of experience required

Desired:

Recruiting strategy development

Familiarity with the ODNI Event Coordination System

Familiarity with the National Security Education Program

Experience supporting communities of practice or interagency working groups

Experience working with students
