Superintendent

F. L. Crane & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to join our team. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.

Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Monitor and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.

Resolve any construction-related issues that arise during the project.

Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.

Ensure timely completion of projects within budget.

Prepare and submit progress reports to management.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)

5 years of experience in construction supervision (required)

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Extensive knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations

Strong leadership and management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

Proficiency in construction software and project management tools

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Willingness to travel to project sites as required by the job
