Core Laboratory Supervisor

Description

Organizes and directs the daily activities of the laboratory. Responsible for supervising laboratory personnel, conducting and overseeing quality assurance and quality control, and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting lab results in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Serology. A level 2 supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to the Lab Director. Bachelors degree in area of specialty. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Minimum 4 years of experience. Previous supervisory experience required.
