Academic Support, Manager IV (Director of Nursing/Assistant Dean)

In cooperation with college leadership, the Director of Nursing/Assistant Dean has the responsibility and authority for the administrative and instructional activities of the nursing education programs at Bluegrass Community and Technical College. The director is responsible for supporting students, faculty, and college administration for the safe and lawful operations of all nursing education programs. This includes management of the division budget, maintenance and development of the program and advisory board meetings and maintenance of program accreditations. This essential role encompasses collaborating with faculty, support staff, academic deans, provost and the president for continuous program improvement.Preferred Qualifications:Doctorate Degree (Nursing)Five (5) years supervisory experience and seven (7) years of experience in related field or equivalent.Current Kentucky Registered Nurse license in good standing or eligibility for licensure in the stateAdditional Skills Requested:Expertise appropriate to administrative responsibilitiesProven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
