Pay from over $24.00/hour to over $30.00/hour!

Plus earn an additional $1.50/hour for working 2nd.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Use various types of grinders and deburring tools to grind, buff, polish and deburr parts to production traveler and print specifications.

Inspect parts per print specifications.

Operate a walkie lift truck to move parts in and out of work area.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).

Comply with all applicable occupational Environmental, Health, and Safety standards, as well as Crown’s safety rules and regulations for each task performed. To prevent the risk of injury, report unsafe conditions and do not perform unsafe acts.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Per 8 hr. shift (stand 6 hrs., walk 2 hrs.), occasionally (bend/stoop/twist), infrequently (torque). Frequent lifting and carrying (frequently from 0 to 30 lbs., occasionally from 31 to 50 lbs.). Must be able to hear, see, balance, have good binocular vision, do simple and firm grasping with both hands. Must be able to work in a noisy environment that includes exposure to vibration, weld smoke, dust, shavings, grease, oil, and solvents.
