Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor will coordinate 15 – 30 UAW machine operators, ensuring the shift runs accurately. Responsibilities include overseeing shipping & receiving, machine operators, maintenance techs, grinders, and hi-lo drivers to meet production numbers. The role requires working Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays. Specific duties include ensuring proper and effective utilization of manpower, tools, equipment, and plant facilities; maintaining quality and production standards; conducting hourly machine checks; editing time sheets; conducting safety, quality, and productivity meetings; completing HR-related forms; and managing and resolving conflicts. The Production Supervisor will also be an active member of the Plant Safety Team, providing weekly safety talks and being alert for continuous improvement.

Hard Skills

3-5 Years supervisory experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Production facility

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Roseville, Michigan.

Work Environment

Steel Toes, Safety Glasses required. 2nd shift: 2:15PM – 10:45PM. Supervisors report 15 minutes before and after shifts. Working 5 days/week, with additional shift meetings, averaging 45 – 55 hours per week. Salary: $60,000-70,000/yr.
