Job Title: Maintenance Lead / Supervisor
Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance team responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. This role includes managing daily maintenance activities, ensuring that equipment is operating efficiently, and minimizing downtime. The supervisor schedules and coordinates preventive maintenance tasks, responds to emergency repairs, and ensures all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulations. Additionally, the role involves training and mentoring maintenance staff, managing budgets, ordering parts and supplies, and collaborating with other departments to support production goals. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. The maintenance team is small, consisting of 2-3 people, and reports directly to the Operations Manager and Plant Manager. The supervisor works on the 1st shift and is sometimes on call depending on plant needs. The facility operates 24/7.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Madison Heights, Michigan.
Work Environment
Heat treating facility with large furnaces. The environment can be hot in the summers and cold in the winters. Not the cleanest environment, with large round oil bins for cooling parts after heat treatment.
