The Child Care Licensing Bureau (CCLB) performs state licensing regulatory duties as required by state laws and federal requirements. This position performs a variety of trade, technical, professional, or administrative support activities for the bureau.

Required Education and Experience
This position generally requires current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. Specific information on the education and experience required for the position is in the job specifications for the Student Assistant class. Student Assistant positions cannot exceed 129 working hours in a calendar month and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term, providing proof of enrollment at the start of each term. Student Assistant appointments end the month in which the student graduates or is no longer enrolled in school. A Student Assistant position cannot exceed six years unless otherwise approved by Human Resources.
Non-career employees are not eligible for insurance benefits or paid time off, however, they may be able to participate in a deferred compensation plan 401k and/or 457.
