Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
Day-to-day responsibilities include welding per blueprint specifications, determining proper welds, callouts, and positions to complete the job, and reading detailed welding blueprints to complete tasks in a timely manner. The welding involves MIG welding on Mild Steel and Stainless Steel, ranging from 7 gauge to 1/4. Additionally, you may be asked to help with cutting material, organizing material, and staging it for other employees. Candidates will also be fabricating, operating machines, grinding, cutting insulation, and finishing parts. The role consists of 80% welding and 20% other duties.
Performance Expectations1st day responsibilities:
Will be responsible for reading blue prints, setting up both materials and the welder, and completing the job with specific tolerances. They may be asked to help in all areas including cutting materials, insulation and operating equipment.
Performance measurements: Will be evaluated on the quality of their work and timeliness of their jobs. The company tries to produce anywhere form 4-8 complete units/wk

This is a fully on-site position in Rosemount, Minnesota. Small shop experiencing a large amount of growth. They are looking for long-term candidates. They will potentially be looking to move into a larger facility within the next few years because they are outgrowing their current one.
Shift
2nd shift: 3:30pm – 1:30am (Monday – Thursday)
Or
Weekend: 6am – 6:30pm (Friday – Sunday) 11% premium
