Job Title: Metal Finisher

Job Description

Work in the fabrication department, taking newly welded parts and using a small handheld grinding tool to smooth out the metal work. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone willing to work hard and earn great money. We offer plenty of overtime and competitive entry-level pay. No experience is needed as we provide comprehensive training for this role. Responsibilities include removing all weld spatter, smoothing metals for paint adhesion, using a handheld grinder, moving materials as needed, and wearing protective PPE to safeguard eyes and body from sparks.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Anoka, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Comfortable metal fabrication area in the winter, can get warm in the summer. On hotter days, mandatory breaks are provided with Gatorades and Freezees for hydration. The grinding area consists of a small team of 4-6 people, making teamwork important, though much of the work is done independently.
