Mechanical Assembler in Anoka, MN, US pay $18-21/hr( Based on experience)

Job Description

Join our team in the Cooling Department where we manufacture Heating/Cooling Units for various industries.

You will start in a general assembly role, using hand tools to assemble the exterior of units.

Over time, you will receive training for wiring and testing the units.

There is also an opportunity to become certified in brazing, which includes a raise.

You will utilize work instructions to assemble more complex cooling systems and mild steel enclosures.

Work Environment

High-speed environment (not an assembly line).

You will build products off blueprints and perform brazing.

Be prepared to move around frequently and assist in multiple areas.

The environment is non-temperature controlled.

Shifts available: 1st shift from 7:30am to 3:30pm (overtime starting as early as 5:30am) and 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 11:30pm (overtime working as late as 1:30am) Overtime is mandatory when required and is typically announced well in advance. Occasional mandatory Saturdays, possibly once a month in summer or twice a quarter, scheduled in advance.
