Customer Master Data Specialist
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As Bayer Crop Science, we advance regenerative agriculture and technology breakthroughs using the latest agronomic science, data science, engineering, and real-world farming experience. With groundbreaking technologies like Climate FieldView and our ForGround regenerative agriculture platform, our team is a part of some of the most important advancements in ag.
The Customer Master Data Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining Customer Account records that enable and support the operations of our North America commercial and product supply organizations.
Accountable for the creation and maintenance of customer master data in SAP and ancillary systems (IRD, Salesforce, etc.) to ensure the availability of timely, accurate, high quality customer master data
Accountable for researching unknown customer accounts to identify whether they are new or existing customer, driving quality for B2B and Grower Point of Sale insights and enabling key customer facing marketing programs
Accountable to proactively identify and resolve customer master data related issues Identify best practices and process improvements for data management based on investigation/analysis and solicited feedback Incorporate process changes into appropriate audit and training materials
Collaborate with IT support on enhancements and production support issues
Participate in or manage small customer data related projects within or outside of the team
Maintain key operational metrics: timeliness and accuracy to support operational excellence and a strong internal control environment.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required qualifications
High School Diploma with 3 years experience or Bachelor s Degree with 1 years professional experience
Preferred qualifications
Experience in ERP data governance, data management or working with customer data
Detail oriented and highly focused on delivering results
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and interpret data
Effective and detailed oral and written communication and listening skills
Fast learner
Seeks to understand process
WHAT WE OFFER
Base salary estimated range between $55,332.80 – $82,999.20 annually, depending on the hiring location. You may also be offered bonuses, RSUs cash equivalent, or commission.
