The Manager, Sales Analytics primary responsibilities are to support the
Vice President and Director of Sales, National Account Managers, and the
broader organization in analyzing past and current business trends,
competitive actions, and mining future sales opportunities to drive
business growth within Walmart and Sams Club. The ideal candidate will
be able to effectively and accurately pull, scrub, analyze, and
communicate business performance while assisting in the strategy
necessary to achieve profit, volume, and market share growth targets.
This person is self-motivated and capable of adapting to the changing
needs of the business. This person is highly organized,
detailed-focused, and proactive in their approach; team focused with a
positive attitude.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

– Develop category strategies for growth by leveraging insights and
partnering with the cross functional team (Sales, Marketing,
Category Management).
– Develop, enhance, and ongoing management of sales reporting on a
weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
– Track key performance indicators (KPI) to measure business success.
– Collect, organize and analyze large data sets to develop accurate,
insightful story lines and recommendations to drive business
decisions.
– Recommend new approaches to analyzing business results and trends
and create ad hoc reporting for situational analysis, as needed.
– Provide customer category management insight by leading the dialogue
with a focus on category growth opportunities, margin opportunities,
and SKU optimization.
– Monitor current and upcoming market trends and other competitors
promotional activity.
– Track the success of new items and promotional efforts and make
recommendations to optimize based on performance.
– Participate in customer touch base appointments, category line
reviews, Joint Business Planning, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
– Create and maintain item set-up and other ad-hoc customer processes
and request. Support the sales team with line review preparation,
sample request, and miscellaneous customer support needs.

You Are Best Suited for The Role If You….

– Have a minimum of 5 years of experience within CPG industry,
specifically working with Walmart/Sams Club
– Are an expert in Excel.
– Have experience extracting and utilizing Customer POS data (Retail
Link, Madrid, Luminate) and syndicated data sources
– Have experience of visualization tools a plus (Power BI)
– Have an ownership mindset and commitment to growth and constant
learning of new skills
– Are meticulously detail oriented.

Salary Range: $85370 – $112050

“Salary offers will vary co mensurate with experience, educations,
skills and training”
