Job Title: Structures Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as a Structures Mechanic where you will engage in the inspection, repair, and replacement of aircraft sheet metal structures. Your tasks will include working with main landing gear fittings, aircraft skins, and floor beams, adhering strictly to maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and our company policies. You will read and interpret blueprints and sketches, plan and fabricate sheet metal parts, and make crucial entries in maintenance logs. This role requires knowledge of metallic and nonmetallic materials, layout techniques, and shop mathematics.

Hard Skills

Reading and interpreting blueprints and sketches

Planning, laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products

Knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and nonmetallic materials

Machining and layout techniques

Utilization of various equipment such as hydraulic press brake, power shear, rivet guns, and drills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s). Long-term contracts available as well.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marana, Arizona.

Work Environment

This role operates in a dynamic environment that includes physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs unassisted. You will work with various equipment and may be exposed to potential hazards such as high noise levels and extreme temperatures. Protective equipment is provided to ensure safety in the workplace. Work location varies within the B777 Cargo Conversion Program, with potential assignments across the property.

Work Schedule:

· Monday – Friday // Must be flexible working 1st or 2nd shifts.
