Microsoft Purview Architect

Job Description

Insight Global is sourcing for an Information Security Architect with expertise in Microsoft Purview, to join a public sector Government IT organization within the Enterprise Services development team. This position will be a part of the Department of Revenue (DOR), the DOR is committed to securing and protecting taxpayer information. We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Purview resource to implement a data labeling and data loss prevention solution in Office 365. This will include email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams and must be completed prior to migration of files to the Microsoft Office 365 cloud. The Purview expert must have hands on experience in the deployment and testing of data classification/labeling and data loss prevention across an enterprise. The individual must be able to demonstrate data protection experience in large scale Purview implementations. The individual must have overall Office 365 technical expertise in Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. This position will be hybrid out of the Chelsea, MA area roughly 1 day per week. This role is a 12-month contract model with opportunity for extensions.

Compensation: $85/hr. to $100/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· Experience with Microsoft Purview and ability to configure and maintain it in large-scale enterprise environments

· At least 4 years of experience with Microsoft Purview and experience in a lead role with development of Purview policies for data labeling and data loss prevention. Ability to develop and execute unit tests on Purview policies

· Experience with email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams

· Knowledge of formal testing principles and experience partnering with Quality Assurance teams

· Experience in Information security governance, risk and compliance

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions · Knowledge of IRS Publication 1075 requirements is desired

· Experience with Jira bug tracking and testing tools is desired null
