Posting Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director for Strategic Initiatives and Planning, this position works with Strategic Initiatives Unit and other Residential Life units to manage department website, digital signage content and emails to current and prospective students and their families. Works collaboratively with the Assistant Director of Marketing Strategies and student marketing staff.
As a member of the Department of Residential Life, this position will contribute to creating and maintaining safe communities that welcome and accept people of all (dis)-abilities, ancestry, ages, ethnicities, class, gender identities or expressions, genetic information, marital status, nationality of origin, race and color, religions, spirituality, sex, sexual orientation, size, HIV status, and veteran status.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree and one to three years of experience. Adept at using software applications, including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and PowerPoint) and Internet tools. Experience with graphic design tool such as Adobe Creative Suite. Proficient using Web content management systems ex. Drupal, experience with digital signage (ex. Four Winds Interactive), email marketing system experience (ex. Slate).

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, and social justice education and training, and who foster a collaborative multicultural environment.
Anticipated Pay Range $21.50/hr to $23.00/hr

Special Conditions Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Bargaining unit position, Background Check required for this position
