Pre-Award Grants and Contract Analyst

Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of federal, state, and other grant applications and budgets. Works with faculty and staff to develop administrative and regulatory/compliance components of grant applications. There are 50 grants/contracts in various stages this person should have experience with the pre-award process/finances. They are reviewing proposal submissions instructions, guidelines from funding sources, assist with preparing grant budgets, and filing finacial reports to federal agencies

Skills and Requirements

2 years of experience working in grants/contracts

Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and financial analysis

Experience filing financial reports to federal agencies

Familiar with CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) – part 200

Bachelors Degree

Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Experience working in healthcare

Experience working on grants that are $1 million null
