The Risk Management Administrator position is a key member of the risk management team reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Workers’ Compensation. This position acts as a point of contact for internal and external customers.
Job Requirements:
Work with insurance carriers to process and follow-up on items including enrollment, proposals, and new business.
Prepares and submits required reporting and documentation to state and local agencies.
Auditing of classification codes, payroll reporting, new client set ups in system.
Set up workers’ compensation coding for new state address and locations for clients.
Respond and issue requests for Certificate of Insurance from clients.
Send new clients medical clinic posters, reporting kits and introductory letter.
Ensure that client information and billing rates are set up correctly in system (prism).
Prepare and submit Acord form to carrier to bind workers compensation coverage
Review, analyze and prepare reporting on monopolistic states (OH, WA, NV) billing
Provide workers compensation carrier with:
Payroll and wages reporting
Spreadsheet for enrollment of new client set up
Ensure all required customer documentation is accurate and collected in a timely manner to ensure proper coverage is initiated and maintained.
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, and create resolutions.
Qualifications:
2 years’ experience in risk management
Strong analytical skills required
Excel and Word Experience.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Knowledge of workers’ compensation a plus
Experience with PowerBI, Prism, ClientSpace and/or Salesforce a plus
