Position Summary
The Home Community Liaison (HCL) is responsible for identifying areas of need within a student’s ecology and coordinating linkages to assure positive program effects beyond the program environment. This position includes supporting the partial hospital program for 15 hours per week for regulatory requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
To assure ongoing communication between the school, the student’s parents/guardians, the referring school district, and the other involved community agencies regarding the student’s progress.
To assure the development and implementation of appropriate beneficial behavioral health and educational programming for each student.
To assure appropriate discharge planning and post-program success.
To assure the safety of all students.
To promote the professional image of Pressley Ridge School in local, state, and national communities.
To assure appropriate documentation of program activities.
Qualifications
State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
Working Conditions.
Physical Demands: Requires vision, speech, and hearing.
Environmental Factors: Community, home, school.
Working Hours: A non-traditional work schedule as defined by service needs.
