DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This role is a supervisory position that entails supporting the oversight of the maintenance program at Ohiopyle State Park. The individual in this position aids in supervising and evaluating the work of around three salaried employees and eight wage employees, with the exact number fluctuating throughout the year. The direct supervision of seasonal wage staff during the summer months is a key responsibility. Additionally, this role encompasses the maintenance of all park infrastructure, including buildings, roads, trails, turf, equipment, and facilities, ensuring that visitors have access to safe and functional recreational areas.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch
Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Four years of semi-skilled maintenance or construction experience in two of the following: electrical trades, plumbing trades carpentry trades, mechanical trades, water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or the operation of small and medium size construction or agricultural equipment; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:

All positions require possession of an active motor vehicle license.
