DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Licensed Psychologist Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the psychological services program for our institution. Your duties will include developing new policies and performing psychological evaluation of inmates. Interpersonal skills are a vital component of this position, as you will need to collaborate with staff from psychiatric services, behavioral management, and other disciplines. You will also chair the Psychiatric Review Team and participate as a standing member of the Clinical Review Team for suicides and attempted suicides.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $86,299.00 (before taxes).
This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist; or
One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, mental retardation or behavioral dysfunction.
Special Requirements:
This positions requires the possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possession of a valid license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out-of-state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.
Other Requirements:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
