Production Associate

While reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for operating foam and brick machines in a safe and efficient manner.  Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced, repetitive and physical environment. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and, organizational skills and attention to detail.
Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift 245pm-1115pm; 1015pm-645am
Pay @ $15.60/hour
2nd shift differential @ $0.52/hour
3rd shift differential @ $0.43/hour
This position is located at our plant in Montgomeryville, PA

Day to day responsibilities
Follows and enforces all safety requirements and procedures at all times
Follows and uses all Quality procedures and requirements at all times
Follow company policies to ensure machine reliability and integrity
Operates GEL, Brick, and Links Machines with the direction from the Lead Operator
Helps other departments as needed
Clean machines as needed throughout the shift
Place any damaged product in designated area for proper disposition
Check documentation to ensure there are no product overruns or production of incorrect items
Maintains cleanliness of work area at all times
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Basic math skills
One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 40lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to work in a loud environment
Ability to hear and read instructions
