Innovative Chemical Products is searching for CDL-Class A local driver to join our team in Lynchburg, VA.   If you have a minimum of 2 years OTR CDL-A experience, a Hazmat, and Tanker Endorsement, clean driving record and CSA scores, then Innovative Chemical Product Group wants to hear from you!

Monday – Friday; 7:00am – 3:30pm (1st shift)

Hourly pay/compensation, based on experience

Average 40 to 55 hours a week

Home every night (may have exception on certain occasions to keep plant running)

Forklift training and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be able to drive manual and automatic transmission. Must have both certificates on CDL license.

Mostly local work transferring loads from one warehouse to another. 2 to 3 days a week delivering customer loads on flat beds or van trailers within 50 and up to 300 hundred miles.

Securing by strapping and unstrapping of loads that will be transported by a flatbed trailer or van trailer.

Some percentage of loads will require live load and unloads, hourly pay during these times.

Able to operate a motorized Forklift, power jack or manual floor jack to load and unload loads while at an ICP plant or customer.

Must be able to work in the ICP plant when needed by the ICP plant manager to assist in loading and unloading trucks.

Complete a daily electronic log.

Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.

Manage routes and routines, proceeding in the most efficient way possible.

Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel.

Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.

Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning & end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.

Comply with all DOT and in-house rules and regulations.

Cleaning and general clean-up around the plant when directed by the plant manager.

Support dispatch with routing to new and existing customers.

  Must follow and comply with all plant safety protocols and regulations while working at each ICP plant or customer location directed by the plant management and EHS personnel.

2 years OTR CDL-A experience

Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement

A clean driving record and CSA scores
