Responsibilities

Orrick currently has an opportunity for an associate to join our market-leading Infrastructure practice in New York, Washington, D.C., Houston, or San Francisco. We are looking for an associate with 3 to 7 years of experience in the areas of infrastructure-focused projects work, specifically with PPP and/or design-build and other alternative infrastructure delivery experience.
We seek associates who enjoy working closely with clients within the infrastructure sector in an exciting, fast-paced environment. We are looking for associates who have experience representing equity investors, financing parties, strategic operators and/or contractors pursuing projects in the transit, utilities, energy transition, higher ed, water, TOD and social infrastructure spaces.
Experience with the full life-cycle of infrastructure projects including M&A and financing is a plus. The ideal candidate has proficiency with P3 concession agreements, DB and O&M contracts, USDOT loans and grants and navigating a competitive procurement with public owners, as well as project financing (PABs, USPP, etc.). Orrick has been a Chambers Band 1 practice for PPP Infrastructure for 15 years, and is a premier firm in this practice area. Qualifications

3 to 7 years of relevant experience. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills. Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required.

Compensation and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $420,000.
Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orricks estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
