Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: York, SC

Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Thursday (Fridays off!)

Dress Code: Casual – comfortable pants, work shoes, and t-shirts are perfectly fine on the shop floor.

Position Summary: As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll play a vital role in transforming our engineering designs into reality. You’ll work closely with blueprints and schematics, ensuring each unit is assembled to the highest standards. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a collaborative team, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What You’ll Do:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics with precision.

Gather and verify all necessary parts and tools before starting assembly.

Position parts accurately and secure fasteners according to specifications.

Install electrical wiring, hydraulic hoses, and water lines to ensure operational integrity.

Safely operate a variety of tools, including air, power, and hand tools, as well as overhead cranes and forklifts.

Conduct thorough inspections to confirm all connections are accurate and secure.

Collaborate with team leads to report any defects or issues promptly.

Meet production schedules while conserving resources to minimize waste.

Assist in the final inspection and documentation of completed units.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in general assembly or specialized training.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.

Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must!

Familiarity with safe work practices and proper PPE.

Proficient with power and hand tools, and knowledgeable in electrical and hydraulic schematics.

Basic math and communication skills are essential for success.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
