Job Summary and Qualifications

Provide Enterprise Telecom Analyst II services and support in a fortune 100-company environment with national reach. This position provides support to the PSG Enterprise for all aspects of the Telecom services lifecycle. The Telecom Analyst II will be responsible for managing an up-to-date inventory of all telecom services, cost analysis of telephony integration, and reporting of findings to leadership. You will also be responsible for developing support model processes, documentation, and communication of those processes to our Divisions. Other functions include maintaining phone hardware standards, DID tracking, helping obtain CSR’s from other telco vendors, managing call trees, reporting on number porting, and statusing on large projects with multiple locations.

In this role, you will interact with colleagues across the nation as well as multiple fortune 500 vendors. This position requires someone that has excellent verbal and written communication skills that can work with all levels of the organization including Executives. Project management and problem management skills are recommended to effectively meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements.

Key Position Deliverables: MOR Support, Weekly Statusing (Risk Assessments, Dependencies, Program Blockers), Call Flow Documentation and Standardization Strategy Alignment

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

Responsible for executing the telephony standard offerings across the PHY space in preparation for migration to Parallon GeneSys; this includes, but is not limited to, remapping call flows and call routing documentation in partnership with ATT/Contractor, operational workflow impact discussions with practice leadership as concerns arise, MOR reporting assistance, porting and tech refresh assistance, ServiceCentral Requests & Incidents support, etc

SOP documentation updates and execution to ensure all practices and engagements are properly handled for statusing, reporting, and standardized under leadership guidance; DR/BCP considerations and protocols to be documented, communicated, and supported

Facilitate close partnership and engagement across multiple LOBs and disciplines (i.e., PSG & Parallon leadership, practice leadership, division leadership, PMO, ATT, etc.)

Cross-training capabilities in the role, if desired, across various departments where assistance and uplift may be needed; purely project-based need

Building out processes and plans to transition new and existing locations to the PSG cluster.

Working with Telecom Project Managers to provide quotes and cost analysis if needed, for Telecom services for PSG Enterprise consisting of multiple lines of business.

Work with the business to track orders from various Telecom providers for voice services as well as manage moves, adds, changes, and disconnects for PSG Enterprise.

Hosting and attending status meetings with vendors and internal resources.

Review invoices as needed to help manage billing disputes.

Managing yearly phone refresh project that covers the enterprise.

Reporting to stakeholders’ project statuses in a timely manner.

Entering and managing orders into PO processing system when necessary.

Working Implementation Project ticket queue in ServiceCentral.

Creating process and FAQ documentation.

Communicating with support teams for maintenance and outages as well as assisting in escalations.

Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities will include opening disputes with carriers for any issues identified.

Cost Analysis of all existing systems, acquisition sites, and new locations for implementation.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of basic telecommunication technologies, such as T1, DIA, SIP, PRI, POTS, 4G LTE, 5G.

Understanding of the capabilities and limitations of a range of telephone models and data services equipment.

Familiarity with the applications and interfaces associated with telephones and data services equipment.

Ability to work in a high-paced environment.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Ability to prioritize and manage several ongoing projects.

Skilled communicator, including face-to-face, written, and verbal.

Ability to work with tight deadlines.

Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making.

Must be able to excel in a very close working team environment as well as independently

High degree of initiative and self-motivation

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Telecom ordering experience preferred

Knowledge of telecom industry terminology preferred

Must be organized and have attention to detail

Proficiency with ServiceCentral or equivalent ticketing system to support operations required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Prolonged sitting.

Must be able to work occasional nights/weekends/holiday schedules as needed.

Ability to use computers for up to 8 hours.
