Safety: Wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools

Equipment operation: Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, reel counters, and weigh scales

Customer service: Answer phones and provide information using customer service skills

Damage claims: Prepare damage claims for supervisors review and signature

Receiving and unloading: Unload freight manually or with equipment, and check for damaged goods

Inventory: Record inventory statuses, maintain inventory records, and participate in physical inventories

Shipping and receiving: Wrap, package, and ship supplies, and deliver and retrieve supplies

Order fulfillment: Verify quantity and quality of orders, and fulfill orders

Waste disposal: Coordinate disposal of surplus property

salary: $13 – $13.5 per hour

work hours: 7 AM – 3 PM

Responsibilities

Moves, stores, and handles material in a warehouse or productive facility. Utilize manual or power material handling euipment to pick,sort and place material in a designated location.
