Light Up Columbus (LUC) is seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Seasonal Holiday Lighting Technicians. No experience is required—we provide paid, on-the-job training. Join us and be part of a supportive team dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to homes and businesses across Columbus.

Responsibilities:

– Install, adjust, test and replace holiday lights and decorations on rooflines, fences, structures, trees, and bushes per design schematic. Hold, assist, utilize or supply lights, plastic mounting clips, decorations, extension and step ladders, installation pole with hook, and supplies for other installers.
– Assemble lights and mount them in prescribed locations.
– Loading and unloading of materials and equipment with lifting of up to 50 pounds required.
– Operate manual and power tools to facilitate proper installation.
– Set up and work from ladders and/or lifts as needed.
– Provide excellent customer service while in the field.
– Ensure the proper care of company vehicles.
– Clean up all areas affected by the installation.
– Work in various weather conditions (weve learned that not all winter weather in Ohio is bad!).
– Perform various tasks as assigned by the Holiday Crew Leader.

Requirements:

– Available to work 50 hours per week from September 30, 2024, through December 13, 2024.
– Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (no accidents or violations in the past three years).
– Ability to communicate reliably via phone or computer.
– Reliable transportation to and from work. 
– Timely arrival with a ready-to-go attitude.
– Well-groomed, respectful and comfortable working with others.
– Above-average technical ability.
– Attention to detail and respect for clients property.
– Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of pride and integrity in work.
