Overview

Element is looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the business through maximizing asset value, managing forecasting/planning and reporting, and integrating performance management whilst maintaining a strong control environment, partnering with relevant stakeholder groups to manage a range of financial activities and implementing a financial strategy to drive outstanding business results.

The Finance Manager is a true business partner, you will be the direct connection between finance and our Connected Technology and Mobility business unit

Responsibilities

Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting

Analyze the overall business performance and present to leadership team

Manage budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements

Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget

Partner with business managers and leadership to drive financial performance

Support the Sales and Marketing department by conducting analysis of commercial opportunities

Prepare models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities

Skills / Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA a plus

5 years experience in financial analysis supporting a business unit

Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis

Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing

Strong commercial acumen and business understanding

Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships

Excellent leadership and presentation skills

Team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills

Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advanced computer software skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and other accounting/finance systems
