A local lumber company in the Sioux Center, IA area is searching for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and professional driver to join their team. The Lumber Truck Driver is responsible for the delivery of lumber and lumberyard products in a timely manner while striving to meet the demands of the customer.

Responsibilities:

– Attend all scheduled safety meetings, follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
– Weigh each order or load as applicable, check production variances.
– Complete and turn in truck delivery record daily.
– Clean truck interior and exterior as needed and when time permits.
– Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

– High school diploma,GEDor equivalent.
– CDLlicense as applicable to truck.
– Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
– Ability to lift up to 75lbs. frequently.
– Ability to communicate effectively with others.
