Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manger to join our team in Iowa City, Iowa . Our food operation consists of one cafe which includes cafe services, catering and coffee services. In addition to a strong culinary background, this position requires strong organizational skills, ability to lead a team and give directions. The ideal candidate will have culinary experience.
You will lead the food production team members in managing our culinary operations in daily production of cafe and catering services. You will be responsible for ensuring purchasing and inventory compliance as well as managing food cost and production planning. Duties include:
Managing the daily food production including planning and controls
Ensuring Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
Labor and food cost control
Menu planning
Inventory Management
Food Waste management
Coaching, training and development of the culinary staff

Basic Education Requirement – Associates Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience – 2 years
Basic Functional Experience – 2 years
