Job Description
Under the direction of the Sr. Credit Manager, ensure that a credit analysis is performed on new customers and that existing customers are analyzed on a regular, periodic basis. Credit limit recommendations should be appropriate to ensure that bad debts are maintained within established corporate parameters. Provide statistical studies as required by the Sr. Credit Manager. This role will primarily focus on supporting businesses in the North America region. There will also be an assigned portfolio of accounts to work with.
1) Perform credit analyses on customers on a regular, periodic basis. The analysis includes a recommended credit limit and, when appropriate, a review of the pertinent information concerning the customer that supports the recommendation. In some cases, the recommendation will include the need for some form of security.
2) Perform credit analyses on customers on a timely basis. Request additional credit information if needed to perform the analysis.
3) Maintain and enhance the Credit Scoring model software package used in the preparation of the analysis.
4) Ensure that appropriate records are maintained so that external credit reports and financial statements are requested at the appropriate times.
5) Develop and maintain a knowledge of the various industries served, general business conditions, and worldwide conditions that may impact our international credit and collections.
Skills and Qualifications Required
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
-2 years of credit and collections/AR experience
-1 year of financial statement analysis experience
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Kohler, Wisconsin and some days remote.
