Sanitation Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: – Works with multiple production departments to
schedule sanitizing and cleaning assignments responding to reports of
sanitation problems and USDA and FDA issues. – Reviews and signs off on
daily sanitation / cleaning sheets to comply with company regulations. –
Works with the quality department to ensure equipment is cleaned and
sanitized according to company policies. – Investigates ways to reduce
waste, increase efficiency in cleaning, and to improve equipment. –
Adjusts daily schedule as needed to meet sanitation requirements. –
Responsible to conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company
mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct. –
Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant as
needed. – Fundamental knowledge of the location of cleaning supplies.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills, and
Abilities: – Attention to detail and good organizational skills. –
Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding
environment. – Basic understanding of equipment operations, and minor
troubleshooting ability. – Must be able to demonstrate an ability and
willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels
of safety, quality, and efficiency. Education/Experience: – High School
Diploma or general education degree – Sanitation experience preferred.
