challenging, professional experience with a global corporation, where
you learn from and work alongside Donaldson employees. This internship
takes place onsite at Stevens Point, WI location. Primary
responsibilities: A safety intern will work with the EHS department and
other site leaders to: Mentor employees on safe behaviors. Investigate
problems or failures associated with employee concerns or injuries;
develop and implement corrective actions. Review and verify accuracy of
existing procedures. Develop and implement supporting EHS framework
documentation. Conduct workstation risk assessments. Technical
Competencies: Project Management Strong Problem-Solving skills required.
Data Analysis Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an
accredited undergraduate program pursuing a bachelors degree program
in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, EHS or
a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel,
PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Preferred Qualifications: Interpersonal
skills (relationship building, teamwork, interpersonal insight, conflict
resolution). Communication (verbal communication, listening, written
communication). Judgment and thinking (strategic thinking, original
thinking, decision making, problem solving, awareness). Performance
skills (accuracy with detail, planning and organizing, efficiency).
Personal characteristics (motivation/commitment, flexibility, results
orientation). Hazard Recognition, Ergonomics a plus. Employment
