Manufacturing Engineer Intern

takes place onsite at Stevens Point, WI location. Primary
Responsibilities: A manufacturing engineer intern will work with
established manufacturing engineers to: Develop creative solutions,
recommend process improvements, and enhance production methods. Monitor
and modify equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Investigate
problems or failures with processes; develop and implement corrective
actions. Review and verify accuracy of existing procedures and bills of
material. Develop and implement operating instructions and
documentation. Conduct testing and evaluation of products and processes.
Identify and implement new testing methods and technology. Design
studies for process and product improvements. Evaluate and integrate new
manufacturing/engineering technology to increase production efficiency
and decrease costs. Seek out new methods for improving process
efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Current sophomore/2nd year (rising
junior) enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing a
bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or
related field Experience with 2D AutoCAD 3D SolidWorks software
Experience in Microsoft Office programs Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
Preferred Qualifications: Project management skills Strong
problem-solving skills Data analysis skills Designing, implementing and
maintaining electrical control systems a plus Participated in electrical
engineering collegiate coursework a plus Leadership (setting pace,
decisiveness, change management, ability to influence, organizational
awareness) Interpersonal skills (relationship building, teamwork,
interpersonal insight, conflict resolution, customer orientation)
Communication (verbal communication, persuasive impact, listening,
