Peer Support Specialist/Life Coach

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our client is looking to have two individuals join
their dynamic and innovative team providing adventure therapy, a unique
approach to mental health and emotional well-being. The role involves
guiding clients, particularly children and adolescents with anxiety,
depression, autism, or other mental health challenges, through
therapeutic outdoor experiences. The focus is on fostering mindfulness,
emotional learning, and a connection with nature to support their mental
health journey. These are direct hire opportunities so you will work
directly for our client on day one. Responsibilities: -Develop and
implement adventure therapy programs aligned with client needs and
goals. -Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, incorporating
outdoor experiences as a therapeutic tool. -Teach emotional regulation,
mindfulness, and coping skills using nature-based approaches. -Build
rapport and trust with clients, creating a safe and supportive
environment. -Collaborate with other mental health professionals to
develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. -Maintain accurate
and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelors degree in
Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field. -Experience
working with children and adolescents, preferably in a mental health or
educational setting. -Knowledge of adventure therapy principles and
practices. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Ability to
work independently and as part of a team. -Passion for working with
individuals facing mental health challenges. -Experience in substance
