Test Engineer II

Description:

A TEKsystems guest-entertainment client is looking to bring in three Test Engineer IIs who have 5 years of experience to join their team as theyre working to build out their team as theyre moving more towards automation versus manual testing. This team will be working closely with the development team and must have good communication skills. Current tool set is Playwright (fine if someone comes from more of a Selenium background with it being a browser-based tool) and Apache JMeter. Agile shop – someone who is familiar with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Jira is preferred. Experience in the DevOps space is a plus but not required. This person doesnt have to have experience creating the framework but will be writing the scripts. This position can sit remotely, although preference is local to Sioux Falls, SD for a hybrid model.

Top Skills Details

• 6-8 years of experience in software testing and intermediate coding skills related to automation (current tools are Playwright & Apache JMeter)

• Experience in manual testing of front-end, API, and back-end components delivered in AWS.

• Strong understanding and interpretation of the SDLC and STLC processes (preferably ISTQB certified).

• At least 3 years of experience in test automation using Java, JavaScript, and Python.

• Experience in mobile testing for native iOS and Android applications. (Mobile test automation is preferred)

• Experience in creating, managing, and executing test artifacts (e.g., test cases, test plans, defects, test reports, test metrics) in Jira with Xray.

• Experience writing test scripts

• Healthcare experience preferred
