Our company is a leading mechanical device manufacturer in Farmingdale, NY, specializing in cutting-edge electronic products and solutions. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team and ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Responsibilities

Production Planning and Scheduling:

Ability to create, manage, and adjust production schedules based on demand, capacity, and resource availability.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes specific to electronics, such as PCB assembly, soldering, and testing.

ERP/MRP Systems Proficiency:

Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to manage production, inventory, and procurement.

Familiarity with systems like SAP, Oracle, or other production software used in electronics manufacturing.

Supply Chain Management:

Understanding of how to coordinate and manage raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the supply chain.

Experience in liaising with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of components and managing lead times.

Inventory Management:

Ability to maintain optimal inventory levels of electronic components to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Knowledge of lead times, reorder points, and demand forecasting.

Capacity Planning:

Skill in analyzing production capacity and workflow to balance load between machines and workers.

Ability to plan for potential bottlenecks or downtime and adjust resources accordingly.
