Role Summary:

Are you a leader who roles up your sleeves with a passion for leading project management excellence? At Wolfe LLC, we are on a quest to revolutionize how we deliver innovative gifting solutions across our product portfolio. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Project Management to spearhead our Project Management Office (PMO) and drive the successful execution of projects and critical initiatives.

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our project management practices, ensuring that our ambitious goals are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Youll build & lead a talented team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and navigate the complexities of a fast-paced startup environment. Your strategic insights and hands-on approach will be essential in aligning our projects with business objectives and driving operational efficiency.

As the Senior Director of Project Management, you will work closely with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to orchestrate the successful delivery of key initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, this role will be working across the entire company to help with annual operating and development plans, quarterly plans, sprint plans and drive execution. Your expertise in agile methodologies, risk management, and strategic planning will be critical as you lead the charge in eliminating silos, enhancing visibility, and ensuring alignment across the organization. Key Responsibilities:

PMO Leadership and Development: Establish and lead the PMO to support effective project management and delivery. Develop and implement PMO frameworks, processes, and best practices.

Project Delivery Management: Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget, and quality delivery. Coordinate cross-functional efforts across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.

Strategic Planning and Alignment: Drive quarterly and annual planning processes, ensuring alignment with the annual operating plan (AOP). Manage project risks and dependencies to support business objectives.

Reporting and Communication: Create and maintain detailed project reports providing clear status updates and insights. Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and timely updates.

Cross-Group Coordination: Facilitate collaboration and communication across teams to ensure project success. Conduct weekly reviews drive escalations, to address and resolve critical project issues.

Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement: Streamline product development / project execution operations and eliminate silos to enhance efficiency. Improve visibility into cross-group dependencies and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing PMO, align projects with strategic business goals, and influence senior stakeholders. Experience managing other project managers. Ability to provide constructive feedback and foster professional growth among team members.

Project Management Expertise: Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience in managing complex projects with a focus on on-time, on-budget delivery. Hands on experience w/ Jira, Confluence, Monday, agile tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven skills in coordinating efforts across diverse teams, fostering collaboration, and managing cross-group dependencies.

Effective Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, concise project reports and present complex information effectively. Experience influencing & interacting at all levels of the organization.

Operational Efficiency: Strong background in streamlining processes, eliminating silos, and improving visibility into project and resource management.

Hands-On Approach: Ability to engage deeply in project details, address issues proactively, and drive successful outcomes through a detailed and pragmatic approach.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrable problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset. Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.

Experience: 10 years in software, product, or project management, with significant experience in leading a PMO. Proven track record of managing complex projects and cross-functional teams in a tech startup or fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field is required. Masters degree is a bonus.
