Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Scientist: Conduct site inspections for stormwater control measures Inspect and document the conditions of existing stormwater infrastructure and drainage systems (pipes, drains, manholes, retention ponds, etc). Understand function of different stormwater BMPs Read and interpret stormwater plans. Understand stormwater permits and regulations (MS4, 12SW/20SW) Understand stormwater sampling regulations and conduct sampling Understand Erosion and Sediment Controls and construction general permit regulations- conduct inspections Conduct SWPPP inspections Ability to write and comprehend SWPPP and SPCC plans Why youll love working with us: Medical, dental and vision plan options. What were looking for: BS in Environmental Science, or other related degree 2-4 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection. Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus. Experience with data management and report preparation. Ability to edit Phase I and II ESAs is preferred. Valid drivers license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required. Strong communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
