We currently have an opportunity for an Insurance Associate to join our team.
The selected individual will play a key role on the account team interacting with clients to assess their needs and contribute to the presentation of tailored insurance solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Work closely with the account team on ongoing reporting and projects including vendor specifications, selection, implementation, communication.
Facilitate carrier calls regarding routine and urgent requests for outstanding tasks.
Assist in maintaining accurate client records, policy documentation, and other data.
Serve as a subject matter expert to clients answering questions and providing supporting account data.
Develop sustainable carrier relationships that allow team members to stay informed of updates, changes and opportunities.
Serve as a liaison to clients regarding all aspects of their account.
Work with vendors regarding claims, eligibility, and ongoing service.
Attend and complete any training sessions or assignments as required.
Present a professional image as a representative of the company.
Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and every level of management.
Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
Responsible for completing all assigned tasks or projects, as needed.
Other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4 year college or university
A current insurance license or willingness to obtain an insurance license within 90 days of employment.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
Mastery of virtual technology, including meeting scheduling, video display and screen sharing.
Ability to work in a team environment.
High level attention to detail is essential.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
