Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager motivates and supervises supply chain professionals. To further the development of supplier strategies, the Supply Chain Manager will engage in collaboration and communication with programs, finance, quality assurance, contracts, business development, suppliers, and other Supply Chain areas.
Monitors Supplier key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. Manage the Supply Chain process for team member onboarding training, documentation, approvals, maintenance, performance, and risk assessment processing and conduct performance review analytics.
Proactively collaborate with and provide support to tactical execution teams across sites as necessary to ensure effective implementation of Supply Chain readiness for execution in Supply Chain strategies. Oversee supply chain training and development, in support of business area strategies. Define supplier-specific risk mitigations in furtherance of business area objectives. Responsible for continuous improvements including change management that supports the strategy set forth to the benefit & advancement of Ship Repair.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors Degree and 8 years of experience or an equivalent of Ship Repair Supply Chain experience.
Knowledgeable in supply chain fundamentals, including expediting.
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Able to prepare and lead presentations and briefs.
Highly effective communicator able to listen, negotiate, persuade, and disseminate information collaboratively with internal/external customers and supply chain partners and via cross-functional teams.
Computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
Organization and prioritizing skills.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $102800 – $174800
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
