JOB SUMMARY:

Drafts, reviews, edits, and processes non-technical contracts and related documents for Ride and Show teams to ensure accuracy and accordance with the Contracts Policies and Procedures and all applicable Universal Orlando Systems. Proofreads and processes contracts and related documents of all types for all Ride & Show requests. Tracks receipt of all insurance certificates and contract related documents. Work in conjunction with Legal, Sourcing, and Ride

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drafts, reviews, and edits all R&S contracts of a non-technical nature (such as equipment rentals, training, software purchases, etc.), by creating and modifying electronic versions of contracts in accordance with established policies and under the direction of the Ride & Show Contracts Leadership team. Drafts all R&S contracts templates in accordance with established policies. Reviews and processes all R&S contracts to ensure they are comprised of all addenda items, change orders, description of works, milestone schedules, payment schedules, close-out documentation and other contract related documents. Proofreads and corrects contract documents for grammatical, typographical, and compositional errors adhering to formatting standards and guidelines. Daily communication between stakeholders, legal, and sourcing required to accomplish tasks.

Facilitates contract request forms and processes for Ride & Show. Reviews Scope of Work with the Ride Planners to ensure accuracy. Compiles submission information and documentation into a Legal approved format to route through applicable workflow. Manages Smartsheet and any other electronic tracking related to the contracts process. Works closely with the Ride Planners and Management Team to ensure all necessary documentation has been processed to meet project deadlines.

Creates, archives, and verifies Tech Services contract documentation in the appropriate documentation systems. Contract documentation includes but is not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, Certificates of Insurance, proposals, all contract versioning, contracts and invoice tracker, invoices, lien waivers and Certificates of Destruction and/or Authorship. Verifies contract variables such as vendor insurance qualifications, Master Agreement status, whether onsite work is being performed, and project timelines. Resolves issues with insurance, Master Agreement, or other qualifiers with the appropriate department. Composes and submits detailed final contract request documentation. Maintains documentation control and standards and for Ride & Show Contracts Team.

Processes contract requests in Smartsheet in accordance with contract standards by collaborating with Ride Planners, Contract Specialists, and Legal Teams. Research and provide contract status updates to Ride Management on a regular basis.

Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Associate degree (AA) is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

3 years’ experience in the professional entertainment or theme park industry required;

1 years’ experience in marketing, contracts administration or the hospitality and/or event planning fields preferred.

; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Works with internal and external clients on a daily basis, requires tact and professionalism. Requires highly effective communication skills.
