The Injection Molding Operator is responsible and accountable for ensuring the proper procedures are followed in the injection molding production area. This position provides expertise in running the process as defined, following production schedules to deliver products to our customers and meeting our goals of safety, right first time, on time delivery at or under budget. This position will require cross-training and knowledge of the entire process to produce conforming final product.
Monday – Friday
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
Monitor safety and required PPE.
Make sure all processes are being followed.
Engage with associates to build understanding of the entire process.
Follow all work instructions to ensure safe operation of all equipment.
Work with process engineers and supervisor to define, test, and implement new production improvements.
Ensure that defined processes are followed to produce parts with the best quality.
Daily interface with other department personnel to facilitate communication within the manufacturing facility.
Cross training in all areas to be able to adapt to the production demand.
Requirements
Maintain a positie relationship with support personnel.
Continue to develop and learn technical skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Able to communicate effectively.
Experience in processing injection molded parts.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Timely decision making.
