Job Description Summary

As the Staff Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for operating in lockstep with product line leaders and peer product managers to create a clear strategic roadmap for products within the teams portfolio and drive product consensus with a pursuit of reusability. Your primary focus will be the management of product(s) within a platform called Digital Thread Engineer (DTE). You will work with a global team to deliver a clear and descriptive set of requirements to enable the delivery of a products features and functionality as well as seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Executive Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, Technical Anchors and Developers.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

Own the strategic plans for new reusable components

Obtain a deep understanding in the personas utilizing the platform

Demonstrate excelling business acumen, know latest industry trends and act as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape.

Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.

Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.

Collaborate with UX in design decisions. Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas.

Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.

Own the releases and sprint backlogs short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly releases.

Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.

Accountable for product cyber compliance and regulatory remediation plans.

Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.

Demonstrate strategic level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.

Engage frequently (50% of the time) with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contribute to design activities and decisions.

Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work unit.

Partner with Development Leadership/Service Owners to ensure healthy development process.

Mentor junior team members.

Demonstrate expertise in Agile Methodology.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management or IT

Note : Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired Characteristics:

Familiarity with versatile implementation options
