Patient Safety Monitoring Technician Details
Essential Job Duties:
Knowledge: Knows hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and general information.
Communication: Communicates effectively with coworkers, other departments, and supervisor.
Professional Growth: Takes advantage of educational offerings and consults with supervisor about in-service programs, workflow, and job satisfaction.
Vital Sign Surveillance: Performs a variety of duties and services involving vital sign surveillance by observing data generated from the remote monitoring system.
Visual Monitor Duties: Provides continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients, demonstrates understanding and proficiency of the use of visual monitor equipment, and always maintains visual observation of assigned patients.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Current Healthcare Student
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
License/Certification:
Healthcare BLS level of CPR required
