SUMMARY
Our experienced painters do the final topcoat of paint to our service trucks. The team members are responsible for painting and touching up painted metal parts and/or finished products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prime, paint and touch up vehicles with power spray equipment and brushes.
Ensure proper masking to specifications of the vehicle.
Sand, wash, & condition parts as needed.
Ability to properly maintain & set up paint equipment as instructed by your supervisor.
Some light assemble work, clean, & repairs.
Properly transport product from the paint area to next area of assembly.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in painting of automotive or heavy vehicle equipment in manufacturing, industrial or automotive body shop.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Strong mathematical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to use power washer and caulk gun.
2-3 years’ experience priming and painting.
Previous paint experience with plural component products helpful
High School or GED.
