Job Title: BOM Specialist
Job Description
This individual will pull out documentation that shows what the customers expectations are for their completed unit. They will then verify that the parts listed are correct and align with what the customer requested. From there, this individual will determine where the parts will be sourced from, check if they already have them, find out the part number for each part in the system, or create new part numbers if necessary. They will then create a comprehensive parts list in Excel. This individual will take the Excel information and create the BOM in the ERP system. This information will be communicated to the purchasing group, who will use it to purchase the necessary parts.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
Shop environment, building trucks from bare chassis to completion, aerial bucket truck utility companies use. This individual will spend some time with techs on the floor, learning parts and how they function. They will also work in an office with time spent on the shop floor to verify things and ask questions. The shop can get noisy – moderate to loud, requiring earplugs, and at times it can be louder.
