Description This position is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Responsibilities: Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts Set invoices up for payment Identify and resolve any issues with the application of Sales and Use tax. Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies/issues Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries Maintain vendor files Assist with month end closing Provide supporting documentation for audits Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.
